Hair Color, height, and Bride’s Bouquet

March 2, 2008 By Bride.net

You can find rules for just about anything. If you are a bride who wants to take all factors into account, here are the do’s and don’ts about choosing your bridal bouquet based on your coloring and your height. Here you go:

Blonde brides should consider blues, purples and pinks.

Brunettes look good with red, orange and bronze flowers.

Redheads look stunning with plenty of green foliage and small touches of colour.

Darker skinned brides can opt for really vivid colours or look simply perfect with white.

Now… if you want to take your height into consideration as well, the rules say that “Smaller girls carry smaller flowers.” A petite bride could carry a delicate bouquet of small flowers while a taller bride “might have a regal calla lily bouquet trailing ivy.”

Want suggestions for your bouquet based on the time of day and season too? Suite101 has the information you’re looking for.
