If you’re a brunette, you might consider some chestnut colored highlights just framing your face and blending into the rest of your hair, like Jessica Alba. If you want something more dramatic, try copying Halle Berry’s all-over golden streaks.

Are you blond and bold? Want your hair to match your bridesmaid’s dresses? Try a streak of pink (or purple or blue) like Avril Lavigne! But blonds don’t have to have all the fun!  Every dark-tressed girls look good in color, like Joss Stone’s hot pink highlights.

Are you a natural redhead, or just have an urge to go auburn? Angelina Jolie’s reddish highlights look gorgeous, especially if you’re going for a natural, sun-kissed look. Natural not exactly your style? Try something audacious like Jordin Sparks’ deep red streaks.

Classic blond highlights (and loose curls) always look pretty, a la Audrina Patridge and Heather Graham.

We love the multi-colored  highlights in this short ‘do, sported by Keri Hilson, and the equally striking range of colors in Kim Kardashian’s ponytail!

For the barely-there highlights, we give two thumbs up to Mila Kunis and Penelope Cruz for their delicate coloring and elegance.
