$1 per invitation IS still expensive. Personally, I just made my own using vellum, cardstock and my printer. I paid about $30 for ~100 invitations. Add in postage and TOTAL I spent $100. Depending on the invitation style, you could pay $1+ per invitation just for postage. A tip: don't choose square or heavy invitations. Square invitations have higher postage because they are not machineable. Heavy invitations can add another ounce (or more!) to the weight of your invitation which means another stamp. Also, choose post cards for RSVPs if you're on a budget. That saves you about 20 cents per card!

Hi
We ordered our invitations from Butinski Designs. We ordered the honeysuckle diy invitations. They even went the extra step and did a layout of the invitation for us and walked us through the printing process. We received the diy price with the customer service of customized invitations.
We are going to go back and have them do matching thank you cards for us.
Great little Paper Company!

My theme for our wedding is "Peace, Love, and Music" with a peace sign, a heart and a music note. I CANNOT find anything that goes in that direction with the colors : turquoise, cream, and chocolate!

Would love a reply to my email. Nat_atlie@yahoo.com

If you're in the Atlanta, GA area, I found a little shop in downtown Alpharetta that has DIY invitation supplies. The company's name is Personalized Party Invites. They have really beautiful metallic cardstock, pocket fold invitations, and petal invitations. They also have some really cute charms that you can add to the invitation. I think they have a coupon on their website personalized partyinvites.com

Please check out paulineelizabethdesign.com It is brand new to the DIY Wedding scene! On that site you can download (as a PDF file) these really pretty floral designs (daisy, rose, hydrangea, dahlia, sunflower and lily)and print them yourself on your home printer. Each floral design comes in eight beautiful colors (lavender, peach, pink, green, grey, brown, tiffany green and blue. The soft hues of these floral designs make the perfect backdrop for your words. The PDF file also comes with borders in three different colors to print and cut to create the layered/paneled look. Also on the site - wording ideas, an idea gallery (a work in progress) resource center for paper and envelopes, video how to's and more. How would you like to handcraft 150 of your own invitations in a weekend for under $100? Go to paulineelizabethdesign.com and find out how.
